Sorry, i've been typically selfish

hello vox community, 

                                         As the title implies this is a long over due apology.  I love this site.  i search music here that i have either always loved or that i've recently heard or read about and have been meaning to check out, then i add whoever has it to my neighborhood so i can check out all their music any time i come back.   This, of course is the nature of vox but i think if one wants to participate then the least he or she can do is to put some of themselves into it.  I, up until now, had not.  So i added some of my favorite authors in hope that someone might take my recommendation and discover a great book.  i also added a picture or two so you might have an idea of who i am, a soldier, a father, a husband, this sort of thing.  I would love to add music but don't have the resources right now as i'm still deployed (but not for much longer! yay).

                                         I came across vox by googling "i'd go the whole wide world just to find her" and cristinaelizabet's page was one of the search results.  I was able to listen to Wreckless Erik and i was happy but i realized there was more going on here. I started going through all her favorites (i had not yet learned how to navigate through audio, video, photography and so forth) and i found coco rosie's "japan" and the Decemberist's "the soldiering life."  Now i was hooked.  i began to scour, shamelessly pillaging and learning, most importantly learning.  see i'm at the point in my life that i'm old, crotchety and set in my ways.  it's become nearly impossible for me to be exposed to new music, books, and art. Vox has made that possible again. All of you have made that possible again, so thank you and i promise not to be so stingy and selfish in the future.  i'lll try to give as much as i take.  And remember "art is the proper task of life"
